With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter L. Lawrence (Okmulgee, Oklahoma), who passed away on March 10, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Lee Lawrence and Gloria Lawrence Johnson; and his daughter Marilyn Renee Lawrence. He is survived by: his significant other Joyce Pearson; his children, Walter Leoan Lawrence Jr. (Arsema), Joseph Lawrence, Shaun Michael Lawrence, Donnell Smith (Ryan), Lonnell Smith (Sofia) and Joyce Pearson; and his siblings, Linda Morgan, Kenneth Lawrence (Debra), Barbarbra Cooks (Dennis) and Jerry Lawrence (Janet). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
