He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Wang and Dorothy Wang; his brother Roger Wang; his brother-in-law Rick Vanderford; and his nephew Cory Wang.

He is survived by: his wife Teresa Lynne Wang (Vanderford); his daughters, Jessica Knott (Ty Knott), Jenese Wang (Nick Temple) and Jayci Evans (Kollin Evans); his grandchildren, Karter Knott of Oologah, Gavin Brown of Oologah, Holland Evans of Oologah and Hayes Evans of Oologah; his brother Russell Wang (Kayla Wang) of Clay Center, Kansas; his father-in-law Ray Vanderford (Pat Vanderford) of Chanute, Kansas; and his siblings-in-law, Sherri Bagshaw (Craig Bagshaw) of Kingsville, Missouri and Bob Vanderford (Brenda Vanderford) of Princeton, Kansas. He is also survived by many other extended family members and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be set up at a later date.
