We are sad to announce that on March 12, 2024, at the age of 93, Bessie Mae King of Owasso, Oklahoma, born in Oak Grove, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Noah John Smith and Bessie Smith; her husband William King; her daughter Brenda Elkins; and her granddaughter Franka Post.

She is survived by : her children, Betty Reitz of Muskogee, Frank L. King (Veda) of Turpin, Cathy Campbell of Owasso, Ruth Newton, Dave Newton of Skiatook, Helen Guse (Mike) of Broken Arrow and William King (Kelly) of Ennis, Texas; and her grandchildren, Tammy Pitts (Brian) of Broken Arrow, France Reitz, Jr. (Christianne) of Muskogee, Dustin Post of Turpin, Johnson (Jason) of Hugoton, Wyatt King, Crystal of San Antonio, Danette Todd of Catoosa, David Elkins (Laura) of Irvine, Leslie Seaton of California, Kevin Leverette of Oologah, Christian Campbell of Owasso, Michael Taylor (Heather) of Owasso, James Newton (Heather) of Grand Forks, Jessica Grissom (Marshall) of Talala, William Sams (Kristin) of Andover, LaShonda Deatherage of Broken Arrow, Tony Guse of Albuquerque, Lindsay Horn (Aaron) of Hockley and Nick King (Jen) of Houston. She is also survived by 52 Great Grandchildren and Nine Great Great Grandchildren.
