He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Jay and Mable Irene Riggs (Adams); and his brother-in-law Marion Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Donna Kay Wheatley; his children, Machell Hastings (Raynard) of Owasso and Christopher Riggs of Tulsa; his grandchildren, Thomas Hastings, Tailor Sanders and Rachel Hastings; and his sisters, Clarice Jones (Harold), Marilyn Daggett (Larry), Helen Grove (David) and Bess Anna Bennett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
