He was predeceased by : his parents, Willie Elijah Walden and Mable Walden; his daughter Angie Sewell; and his siblings, Rosie Roberts, Dorothy Brannon, Virginia, Kirkpatrick, Edgar Walden and Dallas Doss.

He is survived by : his wife Jerrie Walden; his daughter Terri Alsip; his son-in-law Charlie Sewell; his grandchildren, Jordan Carver, Blayne Carver and Rob Sewell; and his great grandchildren, Bentley Lynch, Wyatt Carver and Harper Carver. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mowery Funeral Service (9110 N Garnett Rd, Owasso, OK 74055). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the New Life Baptist Church (24525 Frederick Rd, Claremore, OK 74019).
