She was predeceased by : her parents, Haskell Weatherton of Van Buren, AR and Naomi Ragsdale Weatherton (Ragsdale) of Van Buren, AR; her brother Michael Weatherton of Sallisaw, OK; and her husband John W. Potts, Jr. of Sallisaw, OK.. She is survived by : her son John Potts; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Potts of Collinsville, OK; her nephew Aaron Weatherton of Sallisaw, OK; her niece Ashley Kopiske of Poteau, OK; her sister Chery Weatheron of Owasso, OK; her sisters-in-law, Peggy McMicken of Columbus, GA and Joey Potts of Sallisaw, OK; and her mother-in-law Mabel Potts of Sallisaw, OK. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Agent & Mallory Martin Funeral Home (123 S Wheeler Ave, Sallisaw, OK 74955).
