He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward Dowling, Sr. and Patricia Ann Dowling (Pittman); and his brother William Edward Dowling, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Laura Jackson (Corey), Brandon Dowling (Breanna), Daniel Dowling, Jr. and Amber Hacker (Steve); his brothers, James Dowling, Sr. (Robin), Charles Dowling (Helen) and Patrick Dowling (Ruby); his sister-in-law Charleen Dowling; and his former wife Connie Jackson. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, companion and the love of his life; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (222 S Cincinnati Ave, Sperry, OK 74073). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Grace Baptist Church (4316 E 96th St N, Sperry, OK 74073). A burial was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at the Osage Gardens Cemetery (2254 W Rogers Blvd, Skiatook, OK 74070).
