He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Wells and Beatrice Wells (Merritt); and his siblings, Jackie Wells, Paul David Cook, Raymond Cook, Carolyn Holder, Peggy Fleming, Bonnie Shotwell and Ella Mae York.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Wells of Owasso; his son Michael Dean Wells (Patricia) of San Antonio, TX; his sister Sharon Clarkson (Billy) of Okmulgee, OK; his grandsons, Matthew Long (Carol) of Duncanville, TX and Christopher Long (Christian) of Fayetteville, AR; and his great grandchildren, Lizzy, Jonny, Rosemary Long of Duncanville, TX, Sage and Iris Long of Fayetteville, AR. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
