He was predeceased by : his wife Irene Stern; his children, Don Stern (Pam), Bob Stern (Lisa) and Kerry Dukinfield (David); his grandchildren, Emily Keller (Jake), Lou Dukinfield, Eddie Stern (Ryan), Joey Stern (Emily), Teddy Stern and Vollen Stern; and his great grandchildren, Drew Stern, Daivy Stern, Ruby Keller and June Keller.

Viewing was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Floral Haven Funeral Home (6500 S 129th E Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74012). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel (6500 S 129th E Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74012). A burial was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
