He was predeceased by: his parents, Erich Otto Kuhnel and Johanna Elisa Kuhnel (Wormke); and his sister Eleanor Fairchild. He is survived by: his wife Linn Kuhnel; his children, Judi Fuller (Paul), Karen Isola (Carl), Erich Kuhnel, Jr. (Sherri), Debbie Ford (Jerry), Krista Gosnell (Jerry) and Jake Hurst (Jean); and his grandchildren, Kristen DiChiara, Brittany Jones, Jessica Isola, Erica Kuhnel, Jordan Fairchild, Shelbi White, Meghan Ford, Michael Fuller, Matthew Fuller, Tyler Hurst and Braden Hurst.
