It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freddie Dean Long (Owasso, Oklahoma), born in Bristow, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 3, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Omar James Long and Carrie Arlena Haggard Long; and his brothers, Joe Long and Bob Long. He is survived by: his wife Jan; his grandchildren, Michael Long (Crystal) of Elgin, Oklahoma, Lisa Bailey (Mike) of Claremore, Cheryl Hastings (David) of Claremore and Pamela Long of Tulsa; and his great grandchildren, Grant Long of Elgin, Oklahoma, Olivia of Oklahoma, Chassity Bailey of Claremore, Ashley of Oklahoma, Nichole Hastings of Claremore and Tyler.
The family requests memorial contributions be made in Fred's memory to the Owasso First Assembly missions, 9341 North 129th East Avenue, Owasso, Oklahoma, 74055.
