She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Newton Whinery and Marie McDonald Whinery of Georgia; her husband Sidney Dwayne; her sister Goldie May Cook; and her son Max Dwayne Ellis (Bonnie).
She is survived by: her children, Ken Ellis (Debbie) and Janice Hardin (Mal); her grandchildren, Marc Ellis (Sherry), Lucas Ellis, Titus Ellis (Marcie), Stacey Parris (Jason), Alissa Crawford (Marcus), Amy Ziegler (Kurk) and Susan Peacock (Will); her great grandchildren, Mason Ellis (Asia), Levi Ellis, Erica Brady (James), Cole Parris (Starr), Sydney, Rylie, Evan Crawford, Sylvain, Remy Ziegler, Willow, Quinn Peacock, Joe and Ellis; her siblings, Robert Lee Whinery (Carleene) and Earlene Kay Moore (Pat); and her sister-in-law Billie Ellis. She is also survived by five great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel (9110 N Garnett Rd, Owasso, OK 74055). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
