He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Eugene Deering and Mattie Sue Morris; his wife Miranda George Morris; and his brother Edwin Dale McWhorter. He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Morris (Kelsea), Hailey Morris (David Cieminski), Marley Morris and Anna Morris; his grandchildren, Aiden, Mason, Chloe, Maddie and Waylon; and his siblings, Evelyn Joyce McWhorter and Jamie Morris.
