He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Sparks; and his children, Anita Fry (Curby), Alisa Smith, Joe Sparks (Dawn) and Patricia Sullivan. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
