It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe David Capps Sr. of Paden, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 10, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Noble Capps and Bessie Capps; his sisters, Sue Hessman and Fern Smith; and his grandson Joe David Capps III.
He is survived by: his children, Joe David Capps II, James L. Capps and Taletha J. Cook; and his stepchildren, Kimberlee Rohling and Kevin L. Stone. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
