He was predeceased by : his parents, Candelario Ontizerios Villegas and Rosa Ramirez; his wife Ruth Villegas; and his children, Gloria Villegas and Michael Villegas, Jr..
He is survived by : his daughters, Esther Espinoza, Barbara Campos and Rosie Salas; and his siblings, Kenny Villegas and Esther Villegas. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
