He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Dixon and Mattie Elizabeth Garside Lowther; and his siblings, Gene Wallace Lowther and Alma Glenn Lowther Matthews. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn A. Lowther; his nieces, Genda Mathis, Glenene Neal and Dorothy Ann Morgan; and his nephew Roger Matthews.
