It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Gene Girod (Pauls Valley, Oklahoma), who passed away on June 14, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Girod and Wanda Girod (Talley); his pet Princess Frosty; his children, Daron and Gina; and his grandfathers, Leonard Talley (Melvina) and Albert Girod (Levi).
He is survived by: his wife Regina; his children, Aaron Girod and Heather McDade (Charles); his siblings, Ron Girod (Barbara) and Lawanda Lawrence (Larry); and his grandchildren, Lindsay Johnson (Charlie), Britne Johnson (Marcus), Dustin Montgomery, Alex Montgomery and Gavin McDade. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, and a host of other friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wooster Funeral Home and Cremation Services (1601 S Chickasaw St, Pauls Valley, OK 73075). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Christian Life Church (407 N Willow St, Pauls Valley, OK 73075).
