He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jerry Dean and Ruth Ann Knight (Gates); his siblings, David Knight, Jimmy Knight, Jerald Knight, John Sheets of Pauls Valley, Bill Knight (Angel) of Pearland Texas, Jennifer Mathews (Ron) of Falcon, Jeannie Heil of Purcell and Denise Martin of Pauls Valley, OK.; and his siblings' children, Chris Mathews, Derick Knight, Andrew Knight, Parker Knight, Angela Hodges, Brittney Zinn, Lindsey Parks, Jessica Parks, Haley Knight, Jadyn Nunley, Benjamin Knight, Valton Doss and Elizabeth Knight.
