She was predeceased by: her parents, Ocie Guthrie and Selma Guthrie (Alexander); her husband James Ray Gardner; her daughter Gayle Ann Gardner; her sisters, Patricia Sparks and Johnnie McWhirter; and her brothers-in-law, Robert Gardner and Raymond Ivey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Betsy Gardner, Suzanne Gardner-Jacobs (Bernie Jacobs) and Junko Ozaki; her grandchildren, Austin Penner, Nicki Ozaki, Sheena Ozaki and Desiree Jones; her nieces and nephews, Hope Kelley (Jeff Blake), Jeannie Terrell (Joe), Shon McWhirter, Shan McWhirter (Angie), Randy Ivey (Lesa) and Tom Gardner (Jana); her sisters-in-law, Norma Ivey and Jimmie Ellen Gardner; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Dalton McWhirter, Mikayla Dover (RJ), Shyann McWhirter, Johnna Webb (Brett), Siera McWhirter and Addison Kelley. She is also survived by great-grand nieces and nephews, and a host of other friends and family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM and on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM at the Wooster Funeral Home and Cremation Services (1601 S Chickasaw St, Pauls Valley, OK 73075). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at the Antioch Cemetery.
