He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Elmo Sweetman and Berta Mae Sweetman (Barrett); his children, Jeremy Hanks and Tammy Sweetman; and his siblings, Geraldine Pack, Terri Sweetman, Louis, Eugene, Allen and Jack Sweetman.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Sweetman; and his children, Rodney Sweetman, Christopher Sweetman, Tina Rains (Jeff), Jymie Baker (Wendell) and Robert Sweetman. He is also survived by grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and other family and many friends.
