He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Allene Beaty Poyner; his parents, Arvy Leslie Poyner and Lois Beatrice Poyner (Isaacs); and his siblings, Claudie, Leslie Poyner, Pauline Poyner Beaty and Julie Poyner Huckabaa.
He is survived by: his children, Roger Alan Poyner, Christie Janelle Poyner McCarty (Richard) and Shelley June Poyner Robertson (Les); his brother-in-law Hollis Huckabaa; his grandchildren, Ben McCarty, Kelly Pool (Nate), Josh Poyner, Ashley Estes (Nick) and Jessica Enns (Nathan); and his great grandchildren, Carson, MaKella McCarty, Carter, Cash, Cooper Maness, Connor, Ellie Estes and Taylor Reynolds. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Wayne's family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Beaty Baptist Church, 32090 Airline Road, Pauls Valley, OK 73075.
