The memory of Sara Clementine Howell of Pawnee, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 26, 2025 at the age of 76, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Gover and Reva Lenore Patterson of Pawnee; her husband William "Bill" Howell; and her siblings, Pauline Cox, Bill Gover, Sandra St. Clair, Phillip "Chief" Gover II and Garry Gover.
She is survived by: her siblings, Phyllis Morales, George "Butch" Gover and Charles Gover; her children, Douglas Gover-Miller, Angela Reid, Lisa Howell and Reva Howell Garcia; and her grandchildren, Sara Llamas Howell, Jaslene Garcia Howell and Yessenia Garcia Howell. She is also survived by many auntie, nieces, nephews, grandkids and great grandkids.
Viewing was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pawnee Nation Roundhouse Building (881 Little D St, Pawnee, OK 74058). A prayer was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the North Indian Cemetery.
