He was predeceased by : his wife Mary Kay Schwartz (Osborn); his grandson Caleb Pulscher; and his parents, James Guy and Orpha Schwartz. He is survived by : his children, Paige Pulscher (Brian) of Sand Springs and Dr. William Schwartz (Alison); and his grandchildren, Katie Pulscher of Tulsa, Cody Pulscher of Sand Springs, Angelia Schwartz of Stillwater and Tristan Schwartz of Stillwater.

“I write to honor Bill Schwartz. His legacy is revealed in his family life. A genuine interest in each person allowed him to cherish particularity in each person's stories. My witness is observation and acquaintance for nearly 60 years. We became in-laws when he married the love of his life, Mary Kay Osborn. His devotion to her never wavered. Neither did his generous welcome in spite of my change from "sister-in-law to out-law." Like him, I pray to embolden family respect in this time of grief.”
