She was predeceased by: her parents, John Herman Corley and Lucille Estelle Groves; her husband Bernie "Pete" Hughes; her children, Franklin Leroy Hughes, Pearline Kay Mapes and Gwen Annette Hughes; and her siblings, Vernon Corley, John Corley, Carroll Corley and Elnora Pulliam.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas Earl Hughes, Linda Joy Webb and Mary Jane Dean; and her siblings, Keith Corley and Vera Steads (Gary). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (500 E Knipe Ave, Perkins, OK 74059). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Carney Cemetery (810919 US-177, Carney, OK 74832).
