He is survived by: his brothers, Jim Shimanek and Danny Shimanek; and his children, Renee Settlemires (David), Mike Shimanek (Judith), Craig Shimanek (Melissa), Curtis Shimanek (Kelli), Lance Brzowski (Glynda), Shelly Mangion, John Brzowski (Roxanna) and Chris Brzowski (Juli). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
