We announce the death of Everett Lighty of Perry, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 27, 2026, at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lighty and Lillie Lighty; his wife Barbara Lighty; his in-laws, Maurice and Katherine Whitsitt; his brother Don Lighty; and his sister-in-law Donna Lighty.
He is survived by: his children, Guyla (Mike Workman) and Rodney (Benita Lighty); his grandchildren, Austin Workman (Makenzy Workman), Hayden Workman, Seth Lighty, Zach Lighty, Lexi Beier and Travis Beier (Dusti); his great grandchildren, Holden Workman, Annistyn Workman, Maklayne Workman, Emmy Lighty, Kole Beier and Maci Nichols; his close friend Bonneta Hansing; and his nieces, Cindy (Steve Rogers) and Debbie (Merrill Parker). He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
