She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Hendrix Stroo and Cleo Stroo-Bryant (Langston); her husband Gary Wilson; her son Bruce Wilson; and her sisters, Mary Carter and Kathrine Barclay.

She is survived by : her son Brian Wilson (Valerie); her grandsons, Aiden and Alex Wilson (Rachael); her siblings, Darrell Stroo (Kandace) and Nell Brunson (Joe); and her sister-in-law Sandy Hentges (Harvey). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
