It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laverne Morris (Pickens, Oklahoma), who passed away on March 26, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy E. Meek and Bertha Copeland Meek; her husband Jefferson D. Morris (J. D.); her daughter Ann; and her brothers, Louis Meek, Farris Meek, Glen Meek, Jerald Meek and Phynes Meek.
She is survived by : her children, Gerald Morris (Sue) of Duncan, Oklahoma and Kaye Lott (Tommy) of Midland, Texas; and her grandchildren, Cindy Hammonds (Brent) of Comanche, Melody Harper (Mike) of Duncan, Oklahoma, Jeff Lott (Kerry) of Midland and Russell Morris (Brooke) of Duncan, Oklahoma. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
