He is survived by: his son Josh Byrd; his siblings, John Byrd, Alvin Byrd, Misty Barnett (Sherile Shepherd) and Jodee Hess; his brother-in-law Kevin Shepherd; his foster mother Marry Wallace; and his friend Joey Rodgers. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
