He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Herman Schein and Anna Mary Schein (Hollman); his brother Glen; his sister-in-law Laudell Schein; his sister Loretta; his siblings-in-law, Jack Dodson, Joe Culver and Dot Schein; and his nephew Gary Schein.

He is survived by: his wife Vickie Lynn Richardson; his son James (Jodi) of Edmond; his grandchildren, Zack Kraeger (Carlie), Allie Schein and Anna Schein; his great grandchild Bennett Kraeger; his siblings, Gordon Schein, Lawrence Schein (Janice) and Mary Margret Culver; and his children, Jacob, Macie Delgado and Leroy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Lions Club of Pocasset.
