In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Chuck leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Chuck may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ada Marie Clark and Richard Edwin Clark. He is survived by: his wife Joan C. Newman of Wilmette; his children, Jim Clark (Deborah) of Columbia and Cathy Bonnesen (Doug) of Kechi; his grandson Noah Bonnesen; and his stepgranddaughter Abby Huffines. He is also survived by 2 step-great grandchildren, several nieces and a nephew.
He was an active member of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) and taught computer classes for seniors at the Senior Center.
Donations in Chuck's name can be made towards the future Center for Life Enrichment at Larksfield Place in Wichita, in keeping with Chuck's interest and passion for seniors and purposeful aging, or to a charity of choice.
