He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thilsted and Lois Jean Thilsted; his grandparents, Pete, Freda Thilsted, Oral and Lois Hensley; his siblings, Bonnie Jones and Jimmy Thilsted; and his nephew Bobby Thilsted.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Hamilton; his children, Whitney Nichole Smith and Bryce Colby Thilsted; his grandchildren, Gunner Pankratz, Brooks, Mack, Rad, Bowie Thilsted, Amanda, Ally, Seth, Paislee Mae, Kinzlee, Natalee, Grayson and Tynzlee Smith; his wife Debora Kay Thilsted of Ponca City; his children-in-law, Cory Smith of Boise City, Oklahoma and Alix McCallick of Ponca City, Oklahoma; his brothers-in-law, Randy Hamilton of Alva, Oklahoma and Dennis Jones of Decatur Illinois; and his pets, Shadow and Sadie.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Trout Funeral Home & Crematory (505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Free Will Baptist Church (1900 E Hubbard Rd, Ponca City, OK 74604).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First Free Will Baptist Church in Ponca City, Oklahoma.
