It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold A Dobbs of Ponca City, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Harold departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Harold may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Harold leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas and Lolan Thomas (Melford); and his siblings, Durella Jenkins, LaVera Cole and Harlan Dobbs.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Mason; his daughters, Diana Linton of Ponca City, OK, Barbara Altman of Omaha, NE and Rhonda Wilson of Glenpool, OK.; and his stepchildren, Dale Mason of Ponca City, OK, Terry Williamson of Sarasota, FL and Lori Weeks of Bayard, IA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Trout Funeral Home Chapel (505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601).
