She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Thomas and Margery Pauline Rutledge (Hammond); and her brother Michael Rutledge. She is survived by: her husband Allen Spaulding; and her sister Kathy Brooks of Michigan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
