With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Dotson of Ponca City, Oklahoma, born in Espanola, New Mexico, who passed away on October 23, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Odes Shaw and Geraldine Shaw; her former husband Walter Dotson; her brother Gene Shaw; her granddaughter Gina Dotson; and her great grandchild Micah Dotson.
She is survived by: her husband Dotson Auto Sales; her children, Terry Dotson (Barbara) of Ponca City, Lesa Haymaker (Tim) of Ponca City and Randy Dotson (Janie) of Garland, TX.; her grandchildren, Kindra Dotson, Brandy Ray, Bryce Dotson, Chandra Smith and Braden Dotson; her great grandchildren, Trey Dotson, Sataiya Goree, Jaxon Livingston, Oliver Dotson, Gino Welsch, Nora, Ava Dotson, Claire and Emma Dotson; and her brother Bobby Shaw (Marsha) of Virginia Beach, VA. She is also survived by three nieces and two nephews.
