He was predeceased by: his parents, C. L. Ward and Ethel Ward; his in-laws, Clyde and Fern Bell; his son Michael Ward; his daughter-in-law Terri Ward; and his brother Gary Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Rhoda; his children, Greg Ward (Linda) of Ponca City and Debbie Fleming (Paul) of Ponca City; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Ward, Bailee Burns, Jeff Sullivan, Joshua Todd, Randi Alvis and Kelsey Sullivan. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren, as well as many other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations in memory of Lester to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, 445 Fairview Ave., Ponca City, Oklahoma 74601.
