With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Shafer of Ponca City, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 10, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lagal and Elsie Crismon (Steele); her husband Bill Shafer; her brothers, William Lagal and Gene Lagal; and her son-in-law Gary R. Jordan.
She is survived by: her children, Genie Jordan of Ponca City, OK and Charles "Chuck" Shafer (Jeanne) of Oklahoma City, OK; her grandchildren, Gary Duane Jordan (David Barz) of Yukon, OK, Christi Neilson of Ponca City, OK, Shasta Akers of Yale, OK and Staceyleigh Shafer-Harris (Chip) of Yukon, OK; and her great grandchildren, Taylor Neilson (Morgan), Hunter Neilson (Raevyn) of Ponca City, OK, Cameron Akers, Kacie Akers, Cayden Lewis of Yale, OK, Kingston Harris of Yukon, OK and Lincoln Neilson.
