It is with sadness that the passing of Sean Allen Whitby in Ponca City, Oklahoma is shared. Sean, born on January 19, 1965, passed away on July 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Manson Whitby, Ivory L. Whitby, Howard Allen and Hope Allen; his aunts and uncles, JoAnn Aimery, Nancy Whitby Ferguson, Darlene Whitby, Tommy Whitby and Alvin Whitby; and his nephew Baby Javon Whitby.

He is survived by: his parents, Percy L. Whitby and Joan L. McClain (Ricky McClain) of Lansing, Michigan; his children, RoShaun Bennefield of Boston, DaShara Crosby (DonTrell) of Lansing, Michigan, Pearl Ann Hernandez Whitby of Lansing, Michigan, Diego Hernandez Whitby of Lansing, Michigan and Marrah Whitby of Lansing, Michigan; and his siblings, Shela Whitby Jones (Floyd) of Fargo, Arkansas, Hope Whitby Ainsworth (Quincy) of Collins, Mississippi, Neil Whitby (Everlena) of Rockford, Illinois, Ivory Whitby-Jackson (Brian) of Houston, Texas, Daniel Whitby of Miami, Florida, Edward Whitby of Dallas, Texas and Salina Whitby of Lansing. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
