It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Brown of Ponca City, Oklahoma, born in Porum, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Paul Brown; her grandchildren, Charlie Maxey, Mike McClellan and Bethany Kent; her parents, Mary Ellen Potter and John Byrd; and her siblings, Arvid Bias, Edward Redding, Harold Redding and Lee Redding.

She is survived by : her children, Sharon Bass (Clyde) of Ponca City, OK, Joyce Romine of Ponca City, OK, Jody Scrimsher of Blackwell, OK, Hershel Brown (Kristie), Jerry Brown and Debra Ramsey; and her sister Doris Ennis (Jerry) of Yukon, OK. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
