He is survived by: his wife Marty Barkley of Ponca City; his sons, Brian L. Barkley of Ponca City and Mark R. Barkley of Wichita, Kansas; and his siblings, Gladys Lybrand of El Reno, Oklahoma, Ralph D. Barkley of Arkansas and Daniel G. Barkley of Harrah. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
