He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Eugene Pate and Rae Pate (Varnell). He is survived by: his cousins, James Pound (Barbara), Darrell Lawson (Diane), Marvin Varnell (Mona) and Delores McIntire.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the King and Shearwood Funeral Home (808 E Main St, Stigler, OK 74462). A graveside service was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Coleman Cemetery (211 E 293rd St S, Porum, OK 74455).
