With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Belle Ashes of Porum, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 6, 2026 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ashes and Pauline Ashes Walker (Rattler); her siblings, Priscilla, Clarissa Ashes, Josephine Francis, Irene Estep and Ernest Ashes; and her nephews, Randy Estep, Michael Estep, Joseph Francis, Jerrell Birdtail and Derek Birdtail.
She is survived by: her sisters, Leona Wildcat of Porum and Joncie Birdtail (Henry); her brother-in-law David Francis of Eufaula; and her nieces and nephews, Gary Estep, June Fine (Roger), Mark Estep, Jason Estep (Kim), Anthony Wildcat (Mamie), Luman Wildcat Jr., Melissa Wildcat, Jonathan Wildcat (Mary), Raelene WIldcat Williams (Will), Rhonda Oliveira (Antonio), Frederick J. Francis (Malissa), Aurelia Joy Francis and Robert Birdtail (Jammie Terrill Anderson). She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family.
