“Dear Adkins family: My name is Randall Pope. I served with Leonard in the army in West Germany. He and I roomed together for many months. Leonard and I became good buddies. We lost track of each other after we got out (I got out in July 1974; I'm not sure when Leonard got out). I have lots of wonderful memories of Leonard. He was quite a guy. He was one of the physically strongest guys I've ever met. And he was proud to be from Oklahoma. Grace and peace from our Lord to you all.”
