With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Ray Abrams Sr. of Poteau, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 9, 2026 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernie Abrams and Evelyn Abrams (Bertrand); and his brother Jimmy Abrams. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his children, David Abrams Jr. (Dee) of Poteau and Traci Jackson (Jeff) of Poteau; his grandchildren, Jayne McDaniel (Niles), Jaci Shadwick (Jared) and Jentri Pottridge (Seth); his great grandchildren, Journi, Makenzie, Jackson, Braxton, Jera and Averi; his sisters, Linda Waldron (Jim) of Oklahoma City and Nora Wood of Oklahoma City; his brother-in-law Gary Luman (Kim) of Yukon; and his close friends, Bob Reed and Larry Hall. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
