Marilyn Pledger Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Pledger of Poteau, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 7, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, O. W. Pledger and Dovie Pledger (Bowles); and her nephews, Craig Kirksey, Rocky Steffe and Dana Gregory.
She is survived by: her sister Ann Kirksey (Bob) of Heavener, Oklahoma.; her siblings' children, Shelly Perdue (Ralph) of Heavener, Edena Gains of Reading, Pennsylvania., John Gregory of Heavener and Jim Gregory (Cathy) of Heavener, Oklahoma.; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Lauren Thornburg (Justin) of Heavener, Lindsey Ray (Jason) of Stillwater, Lexi Sullivan (Brice) of Heavener, Kaylessa Kirksey of Tulsa, Guy Gregory (Kim), MJ Gregory (Kayla) and Kirksey Perdue; her brothers, Roger Clubb, Haven White (Jo), Russ White (Vicki) and Beaver White (Janet Numerous); and also, Kenslee Thornburg of Piper, PJ, Presley Sullivan, Layla Ray, Carter Stringfellow, Jace, Justice Thornburg, Laken and Baker Gregory.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Heavener First Baptist Church (200 W Ave I, Heavener, OK 74937).
