He is survived by: his wife Dona Lee Cast; his children, Paula Kay Hackler (Gene) of Poteau, Pamela Jean Jacobs of Bixby, Oklahoma. and Gregory Dale Cast (Darlynn) of Eufaula, Oklahoma.; his grandchildren, Shawnna Norris, Todd Hackler, Eric Hackler, Neal Cast and Desiree Lawson (Cast); and his great grandchildren, Braden Hopkins, Beau Hopkins, Brynlee Hopkins, Kannon Norris, Solei Hackler, Brek Hackler, Emma Hackler, Dylan Hackler, Loran Cast, Clayton Cast, Evelyn Cast, Maxwell Lawson and Lilah Lawson.
Viewing was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Dowden-Robert Funeral & Cremation Center (28918 205th Ave, Poteau, OK 74953). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Covenant Church (2101 S Broadway St, Poteau, OK 74953).
