It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Vaughn of Poteau, Oklahoma, born in Colony, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 21, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Russell J Chody and Naomi F. Chody (Dunn); her husband Lee Vaughn; her stepson Mike Vaughn; and her granddaughter Amy Kerr.

She is survived by : her children, Rebecca Wise (Mike) of Moore, OK, David Adkisson (Toni) of Eufaula, OK, Joel Adkisson (Candice) of Sapulpa, OK, James Vaughn (Kellie) of Poteau, OK and Beverly Bain of Poteau, OK. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
