It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Gentry of Poteau, Oklahoma, born in Chickasha, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 11, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Belford Warren and Mildred Gentry (Meharg) of Chickasha, Oklahoma.. He is survived by: his wife Sonja Gentry; his daughters, Anna Brigance (James) of Poteau, Jordan Gentry (Adam Mason) and Sara Chesney (Colton) of McAlester, Oklahoma.; his sister Coleen Adcock of Riverside, California.; his grandchildren, Hank, Graham Brigance, Bailey, Molly and Blake Chesney; his cousins, John Gentry (Karen) of Chickasha and Thresa Moser of Lawton; and his nephews, Bret (Nancy Moser), Brad (Sharman Moser), Gary (Mandy Adcock) and Joe (Tiffany Adcock).
