He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his son Richard Swafford; his daughter-in-law Demaris; his daughter Diane Costa Roca; his sons-in-law, Jose and Ben; and his siblings, James Swafford, Ricky Swafford, Danny Swafford, Linda Hansen and Frances Jones. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
